We are developing a community garden in Silver Spring Maryland. This garden will benefit the local community. Our plan is for this garden to become a community garden with a fresh vegetable shop on location and a place for agriculture education.

What are main benefits of community gardens?
Community gardens are places for people to meet on an agricultural accord. When people join in social activity the are able to bind together around a purpose that elevates the community. Healthy food will be produced from communal action. Ideally community members will get to know one another and will have a place to meet, grow and be together
Can community economics serve to build a stronger community?
Community economics will allow for the community to grow stronger, develop wealth and become more resilient.
